These are the conference proceedings of the 2015 Conference of the European Forum of Sign Lanuguage Interpreters (efsli). They focus on a field of interpreting that is relatively rarely discussed: interpreting from sign language to spoken language (speech and text). We tried to discover why interpreting in this direction is perceived as such a tough task for many of sign language interpreters; where problems come from and how they can be dealt with; how to make a voice-over a success; what the possible roles of Deaf interpreters are in this field; how we can teach it effectively.
