These are the proceedings of the 2018 conference of the European Forum of Sign Language Interpreters (efsli). Every year efsli continues the tradition of bringing together researchers, academics, professionals and members of the deaf communities from all over Europe and beyond.The Croatian Association of Sign Language Interpreters (CASLIFD) took on the challenge of hosting and organising the 2018 efsli Conference together with the efsli team, The efsli community was delighted to be in Dubrovnik to attend a unique conference focusing on interpreting in employment settings. The conference theme was inspired by the ERASMUS+ project “DESIGNS” which aimed to promote access in employment for deaf people.These Proceedings include a selection of papers from the 2018 efsli conference.
