Detalles
These congress proceedings contain a full account of all the papers presented during the Third European Congress on Sign Language Research in Hamburg in July 1989. We have maintained the same order as in the program. The proceedings start with papers on the history of sign language and then turn to various aspects of bilingualism, the importance of mouth patterns, a neuropsychological assessment of sign language, and the aquisition of sign language by deaf children. The congress concentrated on analysis of sign language in terms of children.
